Hi and welcome to SELF-LOVE PUZZLE PIECES.
Let’s talk about what Self-Love is as everyone seems to be talking about it.
Self-Love is the act of pulling all you pieces of self together and living every day in your truth.
The good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful.
They are all part of you as a whole person.
Like myself, we all have things we love about ourselves and we also have days where we spend our time in a negative talk loop.
So how does self-love help us on those ugly terrible days?
That is exactly what we are talking about in SELF-LOVE PUZZLE PIECES!
How do we get to being ok with the worst side of us and how do we find our way back?
How can we love the negative side of ourselves even on our terrible days and why is it ok to have them?
Being human is never about perfection, it is about working on our insides every day to be better than we are today.
I believe that Self-Love is one of the foundation pieces to our success both personally, professionally and socially.
It’s hard work and I know I shed a lot of tears as I learned about myself but I also let go of so much of the story of myself that was not my own.
I made room to find the beauty in who I am and build a story based on my truth and not the opinions of others.
So, what story of you is the truth?
When we start to gather and bring into ourselves the pieces of our own puzzle the truth emerges and self-love becomes as natural as breathing.
When we embrace all of us, when all those pieces we have given away become the whole puzzle of us, a profound shift emerges.
You cannot wholly love another if you cannot love yourself first.
Self-Love is you.
Once you find you, all of you, you will find so much to give to others because you are the GIFT.
Loving yourself first and foremost spreads like water to everyone around you.

I am Gretchen Theakston. A Transformation Coach, Self-Love Advocate, Healer, Intuitive and Nurse.
I live in Toronto, Ontario and am the Mother of 4 plus a fur baby Mom to a Siberian Husky.
I have been Nurse coming up on 30 years and loved what I formally did. Although I am not a practising bedside Nurse, I do research so I can write books.
I am a published author, poet and I also design Journals. I have 5 Journals available at present and more on the way. I love to travel and try new cuisine.
I am an avid home cook and create recipes using alternative ingredients for people with allergies.
I love life and discovering new things in my home town and the unusual places when travelling. I find life exhilarating every day and gratitude and meditation are daily practices as well as journaling, after all, I am a writer at heart!
Although I have worked for many years in the health care system, I find myself using long-forgotten health remedies with my family and myself to maintain our overall health.
Big fan of crystals, tarot/oracle cards and herbology and I also make healing bath salts in my spare time.
I love helping people heal through the amazing gift of GRATITUDE. It has changed my life and how I live now.
